Unreleased track from 2015.
This was the first track that I ever produced, and it took me about a year to finish, as I started with no knowledge of production and learnt as I went. Back in 2015, I was still heavily into dubstep and bass music as my main listening genres, and I also DJ'd with those genres under a previous alias, so it's no surprise that these sounds would come out heavily in my first production. However, I also wanted to try and create something different, and so I had the idea to somehow combine my passion for dubstep/bass music with my passion for punk/post-punk. I've never played any instruments, so for me to get the punk elements into the track, I did a lot of sampling from old punk records from the 1970's / 80's. I came back to this track several years later with greater experience to re-work the mixdown, which is the track we have here. I did always want this track to get a proper release, but I never did find a suitable label for it, so here it is now, 7 years later and available for download.
